WinSock Installation Instructions

  1. Turn racquet over, place on the ground and hold between your shoes. (A piece of smooth material over the but end of the grip while installing on larger sized or tacky grips will ensure a smooth and easy installation).
  2. Grip the WinSock with both hands at the top end the large end and slide over and down racquet grip until positioned on the throat of the racquet just below the racquet face.
  3. Align weight packs if they are not seated in the open area of the racquet throat to secure its position and balance. In time the WinSock will form to the racquet and retain shape to a custom fit every time.
  4. To remove; Turn the racquet over, place on the ground and hold between your shoes.

Grip the WinSock firmly with both hands at the bottom end which is the small end and pull up toward the but end of the grip and remove.

Do not roll the WinSock off of the racquet or turn it inside out as this will make the unit hard to line back up due to the weight packs being misaligned.

WinSock installed and ready to hit

The PT WinSock is a close to medium range training aid that delivers high powered results for your entire game... Always use as directed and take care of your tennis muscles while strengthening them:

 Instructions for use:

The WinSock is a completely hittable device. Use regularly on training days . Easy groundstroke drills with plenty of reps is all you have to do. Using this technique will strengthen your tennis muscles and you entire game, including topspin ground strokes, volleys and your serve. On match day, use it to loosen up before you play by swinging through the stroke path and service motion.

On Training Day:

With the WinSock installed on your racquet; hit with a partner, self feed and hit the ball off the bounce from the service area (21-25 feet from the net) or use a backboard  using your forehand and backhand strokes mixing in some volleys around the net.

20 Balls Quick Rep Drill:

The best way to maximize your training is to practice your topspin strokes with the WinSock by hitting lots of balls from mid court over the net trying to hit topspin to bring the ball down into the court. This will let you focus on correct technique and form while building up your muscle strength and power.

Start off with short sessions to get used to the training weight as you would with any strength training. Using easy strokes will build strength naturally and wont strain the muscles and joints. There is no benefit from or need to swing hard with WinSock so don't over use. Use the same mindset you would when training with free weights (Controlled Weight Training for best results)

Keying on correct technique and mechanics; controlling the weight and not swinging out of control. Be sure to use correct wrist cock or angle while hitting up and across the ball in a windshield wiper motion to create topspin on the ball focusing on bringing the ball down in the court. This technique will strengthen your wrist and forearm muscles with the correct muscle memory for a better grip, more power, control and topspin when you need it.

After a few minutes using this light technique from this distance you can move back toward the baseline if you want to hit some slightly harder ground strokes then remove the WinSock and finish by hitting some strokes without it to feel the Power and Vicious Topspin.

After training with the WinSock you will feel - Faster racquet acceleration to create more topspin, quicker reflexes and control, longer endurance, naturally strengthened tennis muscles for powerful, penetrating ground strokes and added power and snap on your serves, muscle memory for forming good grips, naturally grooving your stroke path, and more overall confidence. Swing through the service motion with the WinSock installed to warm up the serve. Don't hit serves with the WinSock. Your serve will benefit from the recommended techniques.
